About
Allyson has been captivated by light, color, and texture since childhood. Growing up just outside New York City, she was drawn to the pace and energy of urban life, while summers on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard nurtured a deep appreciation for water and nature. These dual influences continue to shape her photography, giving her work a rhythm that feels both kinetic and atmospheric.
She studied Textiles, Merchandising, and Design at the University of Rhode Island and continued her training in Interior Design at The Studio Arts Center International in Florence. There, a simple assignment - reimagining an ordinary object as something unexpected - sparked a lasting shift in how she sees the world. From the textures of a Pirelli tire to the layers of a bustling city street, Allyson has since approached her subjects through a lens that embraces curiosity, abstraction, and surprise.
Her images range from crisp and minimal to richly layered and complex, yet consistently evoke light, movement, and texture. Today, Allyson partners with interior designers and art consultants nationwide, and her work can be found in home furnishings stores across NY, CT, NJ, and FL. She has exhibited at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York City, Art Basel Miami, Art Market Hamptons, and other national art fairs.
