SNOOP: A Backyard Pool Party with Carta Creatives

Take a peek behind the fence at the home of Interior Designer Elana Tenenbaum Cline, the founder and principal at Carta Creatives. Cline really is the “Mistress of the Mix” when it comes to marrying high and low end pieces. She’s created several distinct “hang out” zones on her pool-side patio using a neutral palette, easy patterns, and simple, functional decor. The best part is the backyard oasis considers both the kids and the adults needs to kick back this summer.

A beautiful Kingsley Bate sofa in a kid-friendly fabric anchors the lounge area, under a budget-friendly Costco umbrella. The table and chairs are Targert with an umbrella from Pottery Barn. The pool shed came from Wayfair - Cline’s husband put it together to create their very own Tiki Hut drinks hub for “Adult Swim” nights. And no outdoor space is complete, says Cline without some gorgeous greens. This over-sized plant from Oliver’s Nurseries in Fairfield is a like a trip to the tropics. Watch the tour for more tips and Shop the Snoop with a round-up of fun finds inspired by the patio, curated by Cline.
