SNOOP: Nikki Glekas’ Backyard Pool Party
Nikki Glekas is a boss babe: Mom, wife, CEO www.nikkiglekas.com, party planner, host of her own youtube cooking show “Nikki’s Modern Mediterranean” - she is a seasoned entertaining expert. So when the lock-down had her planning home-based activities for her own party of 6, one of her many #pandemicprojects was designing this amazing backyard summer poolside oasis.
There’s so much to envy out here and we just dipped our toe in. The pool, designed by www.in2bluedesign.com, has a ‘lounging deck,’ complete with loungers from www.ledgelounger.com If you want to get horizontal outside the pool, there’s a daybed fit for a queen from www.serenaandlily.com, and sleek www.westelm.com pool deck chaises.
In the opposite corner, Nikki created distinct dining and entertaining spaces. She has 4 kids and a large family, and she designed this space to seat 20. The star is the 77”x90” island surrounded by www.article.com stools. Storage drawers blend seamlessly and are clad in stone like the rest of the island. The chef’s kitchen was built to maximize countertop space for making drinks and serving. Appliances are from www.aitoro.com, the grill is by www.lynxgrills.com.
