SNOOP: Kristin Fine’s Chic Peek

Here's a special “snoop” that’s really more of a “swoon”. Kristine Fine, an interior designer @kfineconcepts and www.the1818collective.com moved to Westport after living in Darien for almost 20 years then embarking on a year of travel with her husband and 4 kids, which was cut short by the pandemic. She immediately embarked on a lightning fast renovation to make the home feel like theirs. “After a crazy year of travel and living out of boxes I was craving a palate cleanser,” said Kristin. “Here that meant emphasizing light, subtle patina and comfort.”

Kristin's self-designed space is a sublime study in blacks, whites, and natural textures. Her global art and design sensibility is evident on every surface in this custom modern farmhouse. She redesigned the kitchen, and covered the backsplash in gorgeous Cle tile (www.cletile.com). She added some new windows, new flooring and a show-stopping staircase. Statement lighting by www.apparatusstudio.com appears throughout.

In the powder room she converted a slab of marble into a custom vanity and lined the walls with horizontal striped wallpaper by www.eskayel.com.

This Snoop is just a peak, but it is sure to inspire you.
