About

We provide catchall design services from interior design to branding. We’re thinking about design in a cohesive way (design in every dimension) from how it lives in your home in a small detail like the soap in the bathroom, to the design of a menu, or how your brand looks on a website. Ultimately how all of the smaller parts weave together for an integrated, holistic story. We have over 15 years of experience working on projects ranging from architecture through to brand strategy. I am a classically trained architect with a B.Arch from Syracuse University’s 5 year architecture program.

Q&A

DP: When did you develop an interest in design, and what were you doing before this?

ET: I lived abroad in London, Israel, and China working on complex design projects (Abu Dhabi International AIrport) and in New York City working for firms like SHoP Architects and AvroKo Hospitality. These global experiences have shaped my design point of view, and opened my eyes to the many ways we can marry form and function.

DP: How do you describe your design style?

ET: My personal aesthetic is warm, welcoming, and earthy. I love designing for clients with a range of styles - it’s such a fun challenge to imagine myself in their position and constantly reinvent the wheel.

DP: What do your favorite or “dream” projects involve?

ET: Where to begin! A beautiful coffee shop/home store hybrid, a Fairfield county beach club, a bed and breakfast or small boutique hotel where we design everything soup to nuts, to name a few…
